Infant and Pediatric deaths are considered some of the worst calls first responders experience. In addition to the loss of a young life, Firefighters, EMS personnel, Law Enforcement, and Medical Examiners/Coroners on scene often feel helpless and unsure of what to say, how to communicate with families, and what to do on-scene following the event. Participants will learn tools to support families and witnesses during the incident as well as strategies to personally cope and heal in the days and weeks following.
This course is designed for first responders, chaplains, and Medical Examiner/Coroner personnel.

Course Length: This course can be 1 or 2 days in length depending on agency needs or constraints.
